Ticket triage for Braiins OS and Braiins Manager on the public API schema. Independent prototype by Edward Tay, built for a job application. Not a Braiins product.

Triage a ticket

Pick a ticket or paste what the customer sent: grpcurl output from the Braiins OS Public API (port 50051), BOSminer API JSON (port 4028), log lines, or a Braiins Manager worker export. The desk detects each block, checks it against the published model specs and error codes, and drafts the reply, the escalation and a KB entry.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you paste leaves the page.

Miner

Next commands

Read-only first. Anything that changes the miner is marked and needs the customer's go-ahead.

API cookbook

Every service and method in the Braiins OS Public API, parsed in the browser from the .proto files in braiins/bos-plus-api. Pick a method to get a ready grpcurl command with a request body built from its message definition.

Farm network

The networking half of most "miner offline" tickets. Check one miner's address settings, plan a farm's subnets, and confirm the egress rules Braiins OS and Braiins Manager need.

Codes & states

The lookup tables behind the triage: Braiins OS error codes, the miner states added in 26.08, Braiins Manager connectivity errors, and the per-model specs (chips per hashboard, temperature limits, power range).

Collector script

A read-only script to send to a customer. It queries each miner with grpcurl (falling back to the BOSminer API on port 4028), and writes one text file they can paste back. The triage tab reads that file as-is.

What it does

  • Only Get* calls and BOSminer read commands. No config writes, no restarts.
  • Reads the password from a prompt, never from the command line, and never writes it to the output.
  • Works per IP or for a list file, so one run covers a container.
  • Masks the pool password field if a pool URL carries one.

Usage: ./bos_collect.sh 10.20.4.37 or ./bos_collect.sh -f iplist.txt. Needs grpcurl and jq; nc for the fallback.
